Joining us

In order to strengthen and develop our Choir we are continually looking to recruit singers in all sections. It is not necessary for applicants to read music, all that is required is simply the love of singing and to be able to learn your part.  In recent months we have been joined by a number of singers, whose previous experience was gained in male voice choirs, local musicals, several bands, local pantomimes, and the bathroom at home, so there’s no need to worry about inexperience!

At concerts we sing in uniform, which is provided free of charge.  There are uniforms for good weather and bad, and during the Covid-19 emergency we added Cornish tartan face masks.  All this can be obtained through local suppliers, except items such as the sweatshirt carrying the Choir monogram, which we stock ourselves.

Music is supplied from our library and carried in uniform Choir folders.  Currently our annual membership subscription is just £50, thanks to the good work of the Ladies’ Committee, our Sponsors, and our Friends.

If you are interested in joining us, please come along to one of our rehearsals at St Dennis Working Men's Club, Fore St, St Dennis, PL26 8AD on Thursday evenings from 7:00 until 9.00, and have a chat and a drink with us afterwards.
